The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI) is one of three national archives in the UK and is responsible for the storage, management, conservation and access to historical records of public interest.
Forming part of the regeneration of the Titanic Quarter, once home to Harland and Wolff Shipyards, the building accommodates some 3000sqm of archival shelving as well as 3 storeys of supporting accommodation, including multi–purpose exhibition spaces, public search and reading rooms, conservation laboratories, staff accommodation, a café and meeting rooms.
Kane Engineering has designed and manufactured the Main LV Switchgear, Sub Switchboards and Kitchen Control Panel for the PRONI building, including the supply of:
Main Distribution Board 1600A 50KA Mains & Generator incomer ACB’s, 33No feeders fully metered interfaced with Building BMS on a Modbus network
Sub Mains Distribution Board 630A incomer, 13No feeders fully metered interfaced with Building BMS on a Modbus network
