The Titanic Signature £90m project forms the center piece in the regeneration of the Titanic Quarter, once home to Harland and Wolff Shipyards.
This visitors attraction provides a high profile culture and education facility, set on over 12,000m2 of floor space over 7 floors with a 2 story underground car park spanning the area of the site, facilitating large scale exhibits, the lower levels being controlled environments, designed to create an atmospheric installation evocative of heavy industry or the depths of a ship’s hull.
Kane Engineering has designed and manufactured the Main LV Switchgear, Power Factor Correction and Sub Switchboards for the Titanic Signature building, including the supply of:
Main Intake board 2000A 50KA 1No incomer ACB and 2No outgoing feeder ACB’s Main Distribution Board 1600A 50KA 40No feeders fully metered interfaced with Building BMS on a Modbus network and fully integrated 300KVAR De Tuned Power Factor Correction Cubical.
Combined Heating and Power Switchboard 1250A 50KA with 5No motorised MCCB’s Car Park Demise Building Main Switchboard 1000A 50KA with 26No outgoing feeders and fully integrated 300KVAR De Tuned Power Factor Correction Cubical.
