Kane Engineering Ltd-History in the making

Damien Kane ( Director) was out on last week on a site visit at one of our recently completed cubic LV switchgear installations.

Kane Engineering has been in business for 55 years; from the early 1970s we were supplying switchgear into Short Bros.; Bombardier was our customer from the late 1980s, then Spirit Aerosystems, and now Boeing operates the esteemed Short Bros. name yet again, with Airbus running a separate part of the business on the same site. The panel pictured replaces an old LV switchboard at Shorts which had seen more than 50 years service - here's to the next 50 with this one!
