The Belfast Metropolitan College built in Belfast's Titanic Quarter historic site of the Harland & Wolf ship yard. The Campus consists of a five-story building with a central courtyard covering an area of 22,000 square meters. The campus has been constructed in the shape of a ship in keeping with the sites historic past.

The project comprised of a Main LV switchboard & Power Factor Correction, CHP Generator changeover, Kitchen control panels and final sub switchboard's & panel boards.

Motor Control & Automation

The Main distribution switchboard consists of 2000A 50ka busbar system Merlin Gerin ACB's, 30No outgoing MCCB feeders complete with energy metering and an integrated 400KVAR Power Factor section.

A mains Generator CHP generator changeover switchboard incorporating 630A motorised MCCB's.

The Sub switchboards and panelboards were constructed from Schneider Prisma Plus composite MCCB Panelboards and had full energy monitoring on sub circuits integrated into the bulding BMS system on a modbus network.

The project was completed for local construction firm Patton and M&E contractor Harvey Group.
