The Mater Campus Hospital Development involved the redevelopment of key parts of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. It provides for modern buildings and equipment for existing services at the Mater, and will allow for significant additional capacity to service growing patient needs.

Kane Engineering has designed and manufactured the Main LV Switchboard featuring:
- 2000A, 50KA busbar system
- 2No 2000A supply authority incomer ACB’s
- 2No 1600/2000A Generator incomer ACB’s
- 800A CHP incomer ACB
- 2No 2000A bus coupler ACB’s and 17No outgoing feeder MCCB’s rated up to 800A
- Incomer and feeder ACB’s and MCCB’s are Merlin Gerin with-drawable type and provided with energy monitoring integrated into the building management system via a Modbus network.
- Controls for Mains/generator & CHP generator changeover system provided.
